BIO

Born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1996, Madison Nyenhuis has always had a flair for performing. She began singing lessons at 18 months old, did her first professional theatre production at age 10, and made her first on-screen appearance at age 13.

 

Madison has worked with such theatre companies as St. Albert Childrens Theatre (SACT), and The Citadel Theatre. She has professionally trained in performing arts at New York's Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Centre, The Foote Theatre School, as well as the University of Alberta.

She has also been professionally trained on the flying trapeze, basic sword and hand to hand stage fighting,  and pole dancing. 

​

In 2017, Madison was accepted to represent Team Canada at the annual World Championships of Performing Arts in Long Beach, California. She came out of the competition a multi-gold medalist, with wins including Best Overall Comedic Performance. Madison was the only female actor of over 1000 contestants to advance to the Live Finale Show that was performed live for 3000 industry professionals from around the world as well as streamed online.

During the summer of 2018, Madison attended the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts on a scholarship awarded to her for the Summer Intensive Program. 

​

Most recently, Madison stars as "Claire Summers" in the feature film "Connecting Flights", based on the award winning Canadian play "Flight", written by Ron Blicq. 

​

Madison now lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
